Position Lookup
Step 1:
- Once you are in PEDL and have determined that you want to look up a Position, click on the Position Lookup tab. Note that the name which displays above the tabs is that of the person using PEDL.
Step 2:
- You have two options for searching for a Position:
- A) You can enter the Position number in the Position # field and hit Enter or click the Search button.
- B) You can browse the list of Positions from the directory.
Positions are grouped alphabetically at the first level into Departments folders. The folder icon appears next to the group in which the department(s) you have access to is (are) located. Double-click on the folder containing the Department you want to look up.
Next you will see a list of the Departments in that folder. Double-click on the Department you want to look up.
Positions are then organized by Active and Inactive status. Click on the circle to the left of the appropriate icon. If the department has no Inactive positions, you will not see the folder icon.
Positions are then listed alphabetically by Job Title. Double-click on the Job Title you want to look up.
Step 3:
- You will see two panel tabs: Position Data 1 and Position Data 2. Click on the tab of the panel you'd like to view.
